A custom airshow Stearman completed in March of 2005, with a 450 hp - four aileron conversion and many extras to include a full onboard video system for recording the flight.

We were commissioned by the Henry Ford Museum to do one of our more unique projects - a Curtiss Canuck. The Museum wanted us to paint the Canuck in the 1920 scheme used by the Heddon Bros. Tackle Company of Dowagiac, Michigan.  The paint scheme replicates a fishing lure sold by the company, the Dowagiac Minnow. The airplane was then flown by the legendary Franks Hawks around the Michigan & Wisconsin area to promote the fishing lures. Pete and a local sign painter, Ron Keith, replicated the scheme using a model airplane box, black and white photos of the aircraft and an actual fishing lure made by Heddon.  The fish scheme on the airplane was completely hand painted by Ron with brushes for authenticity.
